It has been a long time since Askoll launched something new. For us, this is a significant manufacturer, one of the very few surviving European manufacturers. The rest, such as unu and Etergo, were acquired, Torrot changed tracks, and we have to check if Govecs’ pulse is still ticking.

That makes Askoll very important. Now, Cleanrider reports that the Italy-based company is introducing a three-wheeled electric scooter, eSPro3. This would be part of Askoll’s professional range.

Three-wheeled scooters are popular in some markets as they do a good job of tackling commercial deliveries while negotiating traffic and narrow lanes. Thanks to a front tilt system, the driver rides the scooter just like a motorcycle, and high speeds can be maintained.

Popular three-wheeled scooters include the Honda Gyro e:, Vmoto VS3, and the AIDEA AA-Cargo. Askoll joins the market now with the eSPro3 and plans to put it on roads in early 2026.

Drive comes from two independent motors, each 4.1 kW, for a total power output of 8.2 kW and 310 Nm. The eSPro3 can tackle 24% gradients, Askoll claims. Top speed is not specified though 8.2 kW should be enough for 80 kph.

The batteries are portable and the eSPro3 takes four of them. For fleet operators, Askoll is offering a charging cabinet capable of powering up to 24 batteries simultaneously.

The front tilt can tilt up to 35-deg for a real motoriseed two wheeler kind of experience. There is a 80 kg payload capacity, or 500 liters volume, mostly carried in the box mounted behind the rider.

Prices are not yet announced but its made in Italy and that would be the geographical focus for sales as well.
