InsightEV is a research and consulting company with an editorial front end. We believe any report or database is outdated on the second day of your purchase as the world keeps spinning. That is why we look at the industry constantly and analyze everything worthwhile for our readers.
In doing so, we started with some editorial ethics that define how we operate:
- InsightEV is not a news website. We cover news but focus on the impact than the event. News-related news-related coverage may be found under the tags News Impact, Financials, and Market.
- Not focused on the news also means that we do not do "scoops," "breaking news," or "speculative" news stories. Nearly all information on InsightEV is sourced from public sources, with inferences drawn.
- If we have sourced information from a news website, the same would be credited through an inline link to the source.
- We are not paid by any company for our analysis. InsightEV strives to be unbiased, often bordering on the cynical, with the content, including our social media channels.
- As a policy, we do not post sponsored content or advertorials.
- We regularly work as consultants and advisors to various companies, at times covered on InsightEV. We like to keep things unbiased and understand that this presents a conflict of interest. To keep our analysis transparent, in any situation where we are writing about a company we have recently worked with, the same would be disclosed at the bottom of the article.
- The analyst team does not hold the stocks of any companies we cover in InsightEV. This is part of the employment terms & conditions.
- Some team members may hold ESOPs from their previous assignments in companies covered in IndsghtEV. Such instances would be disclosed when we initiate coverage of any such company.
