We love Niu as a company and admire what it has done for electric mobility. Only one complaint – their communication department needs to start breaking down numbers by vehicle format. Niu Quarterly Volumes

Niu has released its Q2 numbers, and the trend remains positive. Overall sales numbers are up by 37% to 350k units in Q2 2025, from 256k units in Q2 2024. This maintains the uptrend, as the last four quarters have seen consistent volume growth on a year-on-year basis.

However, the devil is in the details – while the China sales volumes have been skyrocketing, Niu has hit a roadblock in the international markets.

Niu’s China portfolio is much wider than its international one.

For the quarter, Niu sold 319k units in China, a 53% jump over Q2 2024 volumes. However, in the international market, sales were at 31k, a 36.7% decline from sales of 49k in Q2 2024.
