We love Electric Motorcycles…
…and electric scooters, and mopeds, and tilting three-wheelers, trikes and anything and everything in between. Anything short of a Wuling Mini, that is.
Electric two-wheelers (E2Ws) and urban mobility hold a great promise to impact mankind. Across the world, more than 60 million two-wheelers were sold last year, give or take a few million. While most remain Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) driven, E2Ws have steadily carved a strong niche for themselves.

Intelligent and informed people believe that E2Ws would have a more profound impact on humankind and the environment, much more than electric cars with 41” touchscreens.
With that promise in context, I welcome you to InsightEV.
What would you get here?
We are a research hub closely monitoring the happenings in the E2W industry across the globe. By close monitoring, expect us to do a detailed analysis of any impactful happenings in the industry.
Every week, at times twice a week, we would bring what we believe you as an important industry stakeholder should be aware of.
We are rather serious people. We don’t waste our time…and your time…in talking about things that daily news outlets, blogs and influencers capture rather well. We are more concerned about the behind-the-scenes dynamics, and the component-level understanding, and we highlight any concerns in what we see.
At the same time, don’t expect any breaking news, scoops or insider info from us. That would be baked into our analysis and is part of the process, but not important for our mission. So if Niu has faced quality problems and unhappy customers in Europe in recent quarters, it is not a news scoop for us. It is a part of the big story where Niu is one of the few important pure-play E2W brands that saw a sales decline last year.
Why are you receiving this?
Our ‘AI-driven’ web crawler recognises you as an important participant in the E2W industry and we included you in our subscriber list. If you feel that our research area is irrelevant to you, we have the Unsubscribe option at the bottom (or send us an email) and we will remove you from the list.
However, if you are a stakeholder in the E2W industry or the market, do give us a couple of weeks of audience and we will not disappoint you.
