Nerva Expands its Range

Nerva added three new scooters to its range. Like the EXE, these are also built around BYD's Blade cells and have up to 6000 cycles life.

Nerva, the Spain-based scooter manufacturer that builds its scooters around BYD’s blade batteries, has added three new scooters to its portfolio. They were at EICMA with the new range.

EXE II

The EXE II is now the top of the range scooter in Nerva’s portfolio. Sitting at a wheelbase of 1630 mm, this is a full-size maxi scooter with 15″ wheel at front and 14″ at the rear.

The EXE II has a mid-drive 19 kW peak motor.

Power comes from a 11 kW motor that hits a peak of 19 kW, enough for the EXE II to hit a 130 kph top speed. There is a 7.83 kWh fixed battery pack using BYD Blade batteries. Nerva claims a 180 km range. The BYD batteries are rated for 6,000 cycles.

LIFT

The LIFT is the new entry-level NERVA. It is much smaller than the full maxi-size Nerva EXE II with a wheelbase of 1415 mm and 14″ wheels, front and rear. The battery is a 4.147 kWh LFT Blade battery. The mid-drive motor is rated at 6 kW, with a peak of 9.1 kW. Conxequently, the top-speed is only 100 kph. Nerva claims a 130 km range for the Lift.

CARGO

The CARGO is a single-seater scooter for delivery personel. Nerva provides an integrated top case with a load capacity of up to 70 kg. The motor is 6.0 kW nominal and can peak at 10.0 kW providing this a top speed of 105 kph.

Energy comes from a 5.22 kWh LFP BLADE pack. The company claims a 140 km range in ECO mode.
