Verge Motorcycles, the Finnish-Estonian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has managed to make its epic TS Pro even better. The new TS Pro has received styling updates and has shed some weight.

Donut Motor 2.0

The biggest change in the TS Pro comes from the Donut Motor. This is the second-generation Donut Motor, and while the peak torque remains the same at 1000 Nm, Verge has managed to shave off half the weight of the motor. That is big since, after the battery, the motor is the heaviest element in an electric motorcycle.

As a result of the motor losing weight, the TS Pro’s weight has come down from 245 kg to 230 kg, a 15 kg reduction. As a result, there are improvements to acceleration and range numbers, even though the top speed is the same at 200 kph.

The New Battery Pack

Verge has also upgraded the 20.2 kWh battery pack and claims a 347 km range on a single charge. The TS Pro has NACS charging in Europe and the US with a 15-minute charge, adding about 100 km to the range.

Change in Rake

The rake angle has been eased out to 25-deg making this a more comfortable motorcycle to ride.

Also upgraded is the interface with the updated Starmatter. The displays are bigger and there are two of them, though Verge does not share the sizes. The previous TS Pro had an 8″ tank-mounted display.
